La compa\u00f1\u00eda otorgar\u00e1 capacitaci\u00f3n, mentor\u00eda y hasta 225,000 d\u00f3lares en inversi\u00f3n y cr\u00e9ditos de AWS mediante su iniciativa Impact Accelerator.<\/em><\/p>\n

AWS<\/strong><\/a> lanz\u00f3 un nuevo cohorte para Fundadores Latinos, como parte de su iniciativa Impact Accelerator, a trav\u00e9s del cual brindar\u00e1 a l\u00edderes de startups pertenecientes a la comunidad Latina acceso equitativo a capacitaci\u00f3n, mentor\u00eda y recursos, incluyendo 225,000 d\u00f3lares en financiamiento en efectivo y cr\u00e9ditos para ayudarles a escalar sus negocios. La convocatoria para presentar solicitudes estar\u00e1 abierta del 6 al 17 de marzo con espacio limitado disponible y podr\u00e1n participar startups lideradas por latinos.<\/p>\n

Las startups seleccionadas para unirse al nuevo cohorte de Fundadores Latinos ser\u00e1n notificadas en abril y el programa comenzar\u00e1 en mayo. Si bien el programa es en gran parte virtual, la semana 1 se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en la sede central de Amazon en Seattle y la semana 8 culmina en AWS<\/strong><\/a> Startup Loft en la ciudad de Nueva York.<\/p>\n

Durante las seis semanas intermedias, las startups se reunir\u00e1n virtualmente para asistir a una variedad de sesiones de aprendizaje seleccionadas, junto con mentor\u00edas semanales, as\u00ed como orientaci\u00f3n y debates t\u00e9cnicos con expertos. La convocatoria forma parte de la iniciativa AWS<\/strong><\/a> Impact Accelerator, que otorga a los fundadores de startups pertenecientes a comunidades subrepresentadas, incluyendo la comunidad afrodescendiente, latinos, mujeres y LGBTQIA+ financiamiento, capacitaci\u00f3n y mentor\u00eda para escalar sus negocios. Las empresas que son seleccionadas aceleran su crecimiento de la mano de expertos en tecnolog\u00eda, inversionistas y socios, todo a costo cero y de manera equitativa.<\/p>\n

Los fundadores afrodescendientes, latinos, LGBTQIA+ y mujeres est\u00e1n usualmente subrepresentados en comparaci\u00f3n con el n\u00famero total de startups fundadas y financiadas. La firma de capital de riesgo Backstage Capital estima que en Estados Unidos solo el 1% de los fundadores respaldados por empresas son negros, el 1,8% latinos y el 9% mujeres.<\/p>\n

Espec\u00edficamente sobre la comunidad latina, un informe de Latino Donor Collaborative<\/a> revela que si la contribuci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de los latinos en Estados Unidos fuera un pa\u00eds, ser\u00eda la quinta econom\u00eda m\u00e1s grande del mundo desde la perspectiva del Producto Interno Bruto en 2020. Hasta el tercer trimestre de 2022, el financiamiento de empresas fundadas por latinos alcanz\u00f3 2.7 mil millones de d\u00f3lares<\/a>, alrededor del 1.5% de los d\u00f3lares de riesgo en Estados Unidos, seg\u00fan un an\u00e1lisis de datos de Crunchbase<\/a>.<\/p>\n

AWS cambi\u00f3 el juego para las startups al brindarles a los fundadores acceso a la misma tecnolog\u00eda que utilizan las empresas m\u00e1s grandes del mundo, y desde entonces ha ayudado a cientos de miles de startips a escalar sus negocios.<\/p>\n
