La nube continuar\u00e1 ganando terreno en 2022 y con riesgos inherentes a su operaci\u00f3n; la segmentaci\u00f3n jugar\u00e1 un papel relevante en la ciberseguridad.<\/em><\/h5>\n
\n

El 2021 se despide con una de las vulnerabilidades m\u00e1s cr\u00edticas de la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada llamada Apache Log4j, que se suma a la gran cantidad de ciberamenazas<\/a> que se hicieron presentes a lo largo de este a\u00f1o. Aun cuando instituciones de gobierno y empresas reconocieron la importancia de adoptar la ciberseguridad como un servicio, entendiendo que no solo se trata de adquirir tecnolog\u00eda, sino que tambi\u00e9n es necesario invertir en consultor\u00eda, implementaci\u00f3n y operaci\u00f3n para reforzar su seguridad tecnol\u00f3gica, lo que seg\u00fan estimaciones de IDC alcanzar\u00eda un valor cercano a los mil 100 millones de d\u00f3lares en M\u00e9xico para el cierre de 2021, dicho crecimiento deber\u00e1 mantenerse e incluso incrementarse en 2022 para protegerse de la gran ola de ciberataques que se avecinan.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, la consultora Gartner estima que la inversi\u00f3n en seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de riesgos ascender\u00e1 a los 172,000 millones de d\u00f3lares a nivel mundial en 2022, frente a los 155,000 millones de 2021 y los 137,000 millones de 2020. Casi 77,000 millones de d\u00f3lares se destinar\u00e1n a servicios de seguridad en el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, lo que lo convierte en la mayor de las categor\u00edas de gasto; 30,000 millones ir\u00e1n a protecci\u00f3n de la infraestructura; 19,000 millones a equipos de seguridad y redes, y 17.000 millones a la gesti\u00f3n de identidades y accesos.\u00a0 Otras \u00e1reas que obtienen grandes presupuestos incluyen seguridad de aplicaciones, gesti\u00f3n de riesgos integrada, seguridad de datos, software y seguridad en la nube.<\/p>\n

Teniendo en cuenta dicho pron\u00f3stico en materia de inversi\u00f3n, Oswaldo Palacios, Director de Ingenier\u00eda de Ventas para M\u00e9xico y Am\u00e9rica Latina de Guardicore<\/a><\/strong>, mencion\u00f3 cinco tendencias clave que los l\u00edderes de ciberseguridad deber\u00e1n considerar en 2022 para no caer en manos del cibercrimen y que les permitir\u00e1n fortalecer sus estrategias de ciberseguridad actuales.<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0Consolidaci\u00f3n del home office como forma de trabajo.<\/strong> Todo parece indicar que la fuerza de trabajo h\u00edbrida lleg\u00f3 para quedarse. De acuerdo con el reporte Decodificando el talento global 2021, una colaboraci\u00f3n de Boston Consulting Group, The Network y OCCMundial, el 62% de los mexicanos prefiere los beneficios de contar con un esquema h\u00edbrido. Pero esta nueva fuerza laboral trae consigo nuevos desaf\u00edos de seguridad.
    Por consiguiente, los responsables de la seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n de las compa\u00f1\u00edas deber\u00e1n revisar sus estrategias de ciberseguridad actuales y redefinirlas para un entorno de trabajo h\u00edbrido, acompa\u00f1ado de una constante capacitaci\u00f3n a empleados y colaboradores sobre los riesgos cibern\u00e9ticos del negocio y su protecci\u00f3n misma, sugiri\u00f3 el directivo.<\/li>\n
  2. El ransomware no dar\u00e1 tregua en 2022<\/strong>. Las amenazas de ransomware<\/a> seguir\u00e1n creciendo ya que este delito es muy lucrativo. Se espera que este tipo de ataques aumente en sectores cr\u00edticos en donde es imprescindible pagar el rescate, como lo es salud y seguridad;\u00a0 las empresas peque\u00f1as y medianas sufrir\u00e1n un incremento exponencial.\u00a0 Adem\u00e1s, los atacantes desarrollar\u00e1n nuevas t\u00e1cticas a medida que se vuelven m\u00e1s conocedores de los negocios.
    Aunado a lo anterior, Oswaldo Palacios precis\u00f3 que los empleados continuar\u00e1n siendo uno de los principales puntos de entrada no solo de ransomware, sino de la mayor\u00eda de ciberataques, debido a que se apela a la curiosidad humana y falta de conocimiento para enviar correos electr\u00f3nicos con mensajes falsos y enlaces maliciosos que usan el error humano como ventaja y ganar acceso privilegiado.<\/li>\n
  3. La nube continuar\u00e1 ganando terreno en 2022, pero seguir\u00e1 teniendo riesgos inherentes a su operaci\u00f3n.<\/strong> Seg\u00fan un pron\u00f3stico de nube de IDC<\/a>, el gasto mundial total en servicios en la nube, los componentes de hardware y software que sustentan los servicios en la nube y las oportunidades de servicios profesionales y administrados en torno a los servicios en la nube superar\u00e1n los $1.0 bill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares en 2024 mientras se mantiene una Tasa de crecimiento anual compuesta (CAGR) de dos d\u00edgitos del 15.7%.
    Las organizaciones que migran sus aplicaciones a la nube tambi\u00e9n enfrentan riesgos de seguridad al no tener claro la trazabilidad de los servidores y\/o activos que componen la aplicaci\u00f3n; adem\u00e1s detectar movimientos laterales de amenazas es m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil en un entorno de nube.\u00a0 Oswaldo Palacios recomend\u00f3 a las empresas asegurarse de que el proveedor de nube les permita agregar soluciones de terceros que ayuden a robustecer el ambiente cloud y asegurar las aplicaciones en producci\u00f3n, de tal forma que las compa\u00f1\u00edas puedan operar en ambientes seguros, eficaces y a menor costo.<\/li>\n
  4. Segmentaci\u00f3n una forma inteligente de mitigar los ciberataques.<\/strong> En 2022 la segmentaci\u00f3n jugar\u00e1 un papel relevante en las estrategias de ciberseguridad de las organizaciones dado su enfoque arquitect\u00f3nico de TI que separa \u00e1reas cr\u00edticas de la red para controlar el tr\u00e1fico de este a oeste, prevenir el movimiento lateral y, en \u00faltima instancia, reducir la superficie de ataque.
    Seg\u00fan el informe “Estado de la segmentaci\u00f3n: las implementaciones s\u00f3lidas obtienen grandes ventajas de seguridad”, realizado por Vanson Bourne en nombre de Guardicore, el 92% de los encuestados cree que la segmentaci\u00f3n de la red ha evitado que los ataques cibern\u00e9ticos a su organizaci\u00f3n provoquen da\u00f1os importantes o roben cantidades sustanciales de datos. Este sentimiento es el motivo por el que el 96% de los entrevistados cree que dejar las redes sin segmentar conllevar\u00e1 un mayor riesgo.<\/li>\n
  5. \u00a0Marcos jur\u00eddicos s\u00f3lidos y actualizados.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Dado el gran incremento de ciberataques en 2021 y los que acontecer\u00e1n en 2022 urge construir un marco jur\u00eddico que enfrente a la delincuencia cibern\u00e9tica. El Poder Legislativo tiene la encomienda de establecer estructuras legales que se adapten a la velocidad del ecosistema cibern\u00e9tico actual y garanticen la seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Aunque no suficiente, pero sin duda representa un avance, es la entrada en vigor de la Estrategia Nacional Digital 2021-2024<\/strong><\/a> el pasado mes de septiembre, la cual promueve la implementaci\u00f3n del Protocolo Homologado para la Gesti\u00f3n de Incidentes Cibern\u00e9ticos<\/strong> entre Instituciones y el fortalecimiento de la coordinaci\u00f3n entre autoridades para mejorar los procesos de prevenci\u00f3n y atenci\u00f3n de incidencias cibern\u00e9ticas. Adem\u00e1s de la propuesta de la adopci\u00f3n de acciones clave para fortalecer los mecanismos de seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n que prevengan riesgos y amenazas a la informaci\u00f3n e infraestructura institucional.<\/p>\n

    Tambi\u00e9n es fundamental agilizar el crecimiento del mercado de seguridad, por lo cual ser\u00e1 relevante actualizar La ley General de Protecci\u00f3n de Datos Personales en Posesi\u00f3n de Sujetos Obligados. Con ello se mejorar\u00eda el manejo de los datos y obligar\u00eda a las empresas a tener una gesti\u00f3n m\u00e1s segura de la informaci\u00f3n, asimismo se incrementar\u00edan las inversiones y se mejorar\u00eda la competitividad.<\/p>\n\n\n
