{"id":38445,"date":"2020-05-22T13:40:30","date_gmt":"2020-05-22T18:40:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/boletin.com.mx\/?p=38445"},"modified":"2020-05-22T13:40:30","modified_gmt":"2020-05-22T18:40:30","slug":"cuando-la-educacion-tambien-esta-en-cuarentena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imprentaedicom.mx\/boletin2023\/2020\/05\/22\/cuando-la-educacion-tambien-esta-en-cuarentena\/","title":{"rendered":"Cuando la educaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 en cuarentena"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">La tecnolog\u00eda puede ser el mejor aliado o enemigo en la misi\u00f3n de entregar educaci\u00f3n a distancia de calidad.<\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Durante las \u00faltimas tres semanas he estado expuesto a la \u201cnueva normalidad\u201d de la educaci\u00f3n a ra\u00edz de la crisis mundial por el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/boletin.com.mx\/industria-tic\/ia-es-clave-para-la-recuperacion-de-las-empresas-ante-covid-19-idc\/\">COVID-19<\/a> <\/strong>desde dos perspectivas diferentes: por un lado, como padre de familia de dos peque\u00f1os de 11 y 9 a\u00f1os y por otro como profesor de tiempo parcial.<\/p>\n<p>He tenido la experiencia de lo que significa ser \u201ccliente\u201d de educaci\u00f3n a distancia y vivir los factores tanto humanos como t\u00e9cnicos que se involucran para que los hijos contin\u00faen con su educaci\u00f3n pese a no poderse trasladar f\u00edsicamente a un sal\u00f3n de clases.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, como profesor de tiempo parcial he tenido la grandiosa experiencia de impulsar en mi comunidad la educaci\u00f3n <strong>STEAM<\/strong> (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) mediante un proyecto en donde ense\u00f1amos temas de innovaci\u00f3n y tecnolog\u00eda a ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<p>Este tiempo me ha dejado experiencias muy valiosas acerca de c\u00f3mo la tecnolog\u00eda puede ser el mejor aliado o el peor enemigo en la misi\u00f3n de entregar educaci\u00f3n de calidad. En mi caso la elecci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda fue inmediata ya que era el pretexto perfecto para poner a prueba la herramienta que d\u00eda a d\u00eda utilizo para mis sesiones de colaboraci\u00f3n: <strong>Avaya Spaces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n compartir\u00e9 algunas de las experiencias que espero sean de utilidad para aquellos que se dedican a hacer llegar la educaci\u00f3n a los ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes, as\u00ed como las razones de por qu\u00e9 considero que Avaya Spaces cumple perfectamente con estas necesidades.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Elija una herramienta<\/strong> que le permita a los alumnos conectarse en cualquier dispositivo (tel\u00e9fono celular, tableta, computadoras, laptop, etc.).<\/li>\n<li><strong>El ingreso a la clase o sesi\u00f3n<\/strong> debe ser haciendo un solo clic, elimine la complejidad y pasos innecesarios.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La capacidad de colaboraci\u00f3n persistente es muy \u00fatil.<\/strong> En el mercado hay muchas soluciones de video conferencia, la mayor\u00eda de ellas se enfocan solamente en la duraci\u00f3n de la sesi\u00f3n y los datos que se hayan recopilado son desechados al finalizar la sesi\u00f3n. Con Avaya Spaces el historial de chat, posts y tareas se preservan en el \u201cespacio de colaboraci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Las clases se pueden expandir en cualquier momento y lugar.<\/strong> Con Avaya Spaces puedo mandar un mensaje a mis alumnos y ellos lo recibir\u00e1n en cualquier dispositivo en ese mismo momento, con esto logro comunicarme con ellos de manera efectiva. He visto que muchos maestros utilizan aplicaciones adicionales como \u201cWhatsApp\u201d para seguir en contacto con los estudiantes, pero con Avaya Spaces logro usar la misma herramienta para esto y adem\u00e1s mantengo el historial de mis conversaciones. En lo personal considero que esta funcionalidad es la que cambia las reglas del juego, como dicen los norteamericanos este es el \u201cGame Changer\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La sesi\u00f3n de tareas<\/strong> me permite precisamente asignar tareas (tasks) y monitorear el progreso, as\u00ed como asignar responsables. Eso es importante pues lo que he visto que ocurre es que los maestros ocupan varias herramientas adicionales a la de video colaboraci\u00f3n para hacer esto y lo anterior ocasiona confusi\u00f3n entre los alumnos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Con las promociones actuales<\/strong> cualquier instituci\u00f3n educativa puede probar Avaya Spaces de manera gratuita y experimentar estos beneficios.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En conclusi\u00f3n, el reto de la educaci\u00f3n a distancia es inmenso y la tecnolog\u00eda puede ayudar si se emplea de manera adecuada. En mi opini\u00f3n, si usted dedica m\u00e1s tiempo a explicar la herramienta de comunicaci\u00f3n y a lidiar con ella que a la clase misma es momento de evaluar alternativas.
