Aterrizando su plataforma de cloud, el mayorista pone especial ah\u00ednco en capacitar a sus canales para aprovechar las oportunidades de soluciones y servicios en este mercado.<\/p>\n

Ciudad de M\u00e9xico. Cada vez son m\u00e1s los nombres que figuran en la carrera a la luna, o mejor dicho, a la nube, ya sea en cuesti\u00f3n de infraestructura o servicios, e Ingram no podr\u00eda quedarse atr\u00e1s. Aunque la plataforma Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace vio la luz el pasado mes de diciembre, la planeaci\u00f3n, desarrollo e implementaci\u00f3n de la misma se remiten a un par de a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s; sin embargo es ahora que empezamos a ver los frutos de este proyecto de manera m\u00e1s tangible.<\/p>\n

“Ingram hoy en d\u00eda es un proveedor de servicios para la nube, es decir, comercializamos servicios de nuestros socios de negocio, pero tambi\u00e9n tenemos infraestructura propia y Data Centers desde donde ofrecemos soluciones propias. Por medio de la interfaz Marketplace, los clientes pueden entrar como a una tienda en l\u00ednea donde van a poder encontrar diferentes soluciones de cloud y desde ah\u00ed mismo van a poder ordenar, configurar y aprovisionar en tiempo real, administrar sus suscripciones y facturar al cliente final,” describi\u00f3 Carolina Londo\u00f1o, Senior Manager de Cloud para Ingram Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n

Esto en el marco de un Workshop organizado por el mayorista, donde se busca aterrizar el concepto de estas soluciones mediante la interacci\u00f3n con los canales, donde estos puedan tener acceso a apoyo y orientaci\u00f3n para empezar en el negocio, por lo que se cont\u00f3 con un m\u00f3dulo de finanzas, otro de ventas, creatividad y marketing. Tambi\u00e9n se liberaran posteriormente webinars , como seguimiento a los temas abordados durante el evento.<\/p>\n

“B\u00e1sicamente la estrategia se centra en esta plataforma, y que hoy en d\u00eda es parte de este evento, es el tema capacitar al canal en el negocio de la nube. Nuestro negocio es 100% de canal y es algo que ya estamos operando actualmente, ya tenemos clientes registrados y transaccionando en la interfaz, entonces la idea es tener m\u00e1s canales y seguir trabajando para agregar nuevas soluciones, como el acuerdo que presentamos hoy con Microsoft donde nos autorizan para vender Office 365 a trav\u00e9s dela plataforma,” recalc\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Sobre la manera en que est\u00e1 construido el esquema de negocio para este segmento de nube, la posici\u00f3n de Ingram es clara: un negocio de canal, donde Ingram es el proveedor de soluciones y soporte, y que permite al canal suscribirse a una figura de consultor\u00eda y gesti\u00f3n. Esta iniciativa se inclina por un sistema de venta frecuente, donde la clave est\u00e1 no solo es vender la soluci\u00f3n, sino en migrar al canal hacia la perspectiva de servicios en todo el ciclo de venta.<\/p>\n

“Aqu\u00ed el canal se vuelve como el asesor de confianza de los clientes, y no solo en el tema de proveer soluciones, sino que tambi\u00e9n en los servicios asociados a esas soluciones. Hoy Ingram est\u00e1 poniendo especial atenci\u00f3n en estar de inicio a fin en todo el ciclo de vida de la soluci\u00f3n, es poder darle la opci\u00f3n al canal de tener el servicio de implementaci\u00f3n, hay algunos servicios que vamos a entregar nosotros y otros que estar\u00e1n a cargo del canal. No solo le estamos entregando al cliente la soluci\u00f3n, le estamos entregando soporte, y algunas otras herramientas que vamos a ir anunciando conforme las tengamos disponibles,” agreg\u00f3 la ejecutiva.<\/p>\n
