La firma de seguridad Codenomicon public\u00f3 esta amenaza encontrada, al parecer activa desde el 2011. Lo que hace en esencia es ingresar a la memoria RAM y entonces permite robar la informaci\u00f3n encriptada y con ello las contrase\u00f1as de los usuarios &#8211; m\u00e1s el resto de paquetes alojados temporalmente.<\/p>\n<p>Los ingenieros de Google que trabajan a su vez en dicha firma de seguridad, dieron de alta el sitio <a href=\"http:\/\/heartbleed.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/heartbleed.com\/<\/a>, en donde explican a detalle este bug. Dentro de la librer\u00eda criptogr\u00e1fica de OpenSSL, la falla permite saltear la encriptaci\u00f3n SSL\/TLS, normalmente usada para proteger los datos y la comunicaci\u00f3n para aplicaciones Web, correo electr\u00f3nico, mensajer\u00eda instant\u00e1nea y algunas redes virtuales privadas (VPN).<\/p>\n<p>Dicha vulnerabilidad de la librer\u00eda, una vez encontrada, permite a cualquiera leer la memoria del sistema protegido, con lo cual es posible robar informaci\u00f3n directamente de los servicios sin dejar rastro alguno de la intrusi\u00f3n. Acorde al sitio, los ingenieros practicaron el ethical hacking dentro de los servidores de Google y en efecto fueron capaces de robar informaci\u00f3n confidencial y cr\u00edtica de la empresa.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con el sitio, Neel Mehta, parte del staff de seguridad de Google encontr\u00f3 la falla en la librer\u00eda; mientras Adam Langley y Bodo Moeller realizaron el parche necesario para recuperar la seguridad del protocolo. Con respecto a la industria, servidores de nube p\u00fablica se vieron comprometidos en alg\u00fan momento, pero por la naturaleza de este elemento &#8220;desprotegido&#8221; no es posible saber cu\u00e1les son los da\u00f1os reales o si en efecto alg\u00fan cracker pudo utilizar tal falla a su favor. Al respecto de las versiones comprometidas comentaron:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 OpenSSL 1.0.1 hasta 1.0.1f <strong>son vulnerables<\/strong><br \/>\u2022 OpenSSL 1.0.1g <em>No vulnerable<\/em><br \/>\u2022 OpenSSL 1.0.0 branch <em>No vulnerable<\/em><br \/>\u2022 OpenSSL 0.9.8 branch <em>No vulnerable<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Estas versiones pueden encontrarse dentro de los siguientes sistemas operativos, considerados como vulnerables:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Debian Wheezy (stable), OpenSSL 1.0.1e-2+deb7u4<br \/>\u2022 Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS, OpenSSL 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.11<br \/>\u2022 CentOS 6.5, OpenSSL 1.0.1e-15<br \/>\u2022 Fedora 18, OpenSSL 1.0.1e-4<br \/>\u2022 OpenBSD 5.3 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c 10 Mayo 2012) y 5.4 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c 10 Mayo 2012)<br \/>\u2022 FreeBSD 10.0 &#8211; OpenSSL 1.0.1e 11 (Feb 2013)<br \/>\u2022 NetBSD 5.0.2 (OpenSSL 1.0.1e)<br \/>\u2022 OpenSUSE 12.2 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c)<\/p>\n<p>La firma de seguridad no hizo recomendaciones hacia el usuario final, salvo el cambio de contrase\u00f1as de sus sitios frecuentes y monitoreo de informaci\u00f3n personal. No obstante comentaron que los responsables de servidores e infraestructura revisen inmediatamente sus librer\u00edas de seguridad. Una herramienta de ayuda puede encontrarse en <a href=\"http:\/\/filippo.io\/Heartbleed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/filippo.io\/Heartbleed\/<\/a>.
