ChatGPT<\/strong><\/a> o GPT-4, es un chat basado en inteligencia artificial, que ha sido muy revolucionario por la forma de comunicarse \u00bfpero y la seguridad?<\/p>\n

Estas \u00faltimas semanas hemos o\u00eddo hablar mucho sobre el ChatGPT<\/strong><\/a> o su reciente nueva versi\u00f3n GPT-4 y c\u00f3mo este chat, basado en inteligencia artificial, puede llegar a trasformar la manera en la que nos comunicamos con los buscadores tradicionales, creamos textos, enviamos mensajes etc. La forma en la que opera est\u00e1 basada en un modelo de lenguaje con m\u00e1s de 175 millones de par\u00e1metros, entrenado con grandes cantidades de texto para realizar tareas relacionadas con el lenguaje, desde la traducci\u00f3n hasta la generaci\u00f3n de texto, utilizando algoritmos de inteligencia artificial (IA) como Procesamiento de Lenguaje Natural #NPL, entre otros.<\/p>\n

Esto convierte a ChatGPT<\/strong> en una IA generativa, capaz de replicar la forma de pensar de una persona, creando as\u00ed contenido, y si bien est\u00e1 tecnolog\u00eda desarrollada por la empresa Open AI, puede traducirse en un sinf\u00edn de beneficios, trae consigo importantes retos a nivel seguridad, igual que cualquier tecnolog\u00eda emergente que opere en el ciberespacio.<\/p>\n

Imaginemos por un momento que un cibercriminal quiere enviar un correo electr\u00f3nico de phishing a un empleado, fingiendo ser el gerente de una organizaci\u00f3n, este puede utilizar f\u00e1cilmente la tecnolog\u00eda basada en IA no solo para crear la plantilla, sino, tambi\u00e9n, para simular la escritura de otra persona. Aunque la herramienta tenga restricciones para evitar sus usos con prop\u00f3sitos delictivos, existen casos en donde se pueden evadir para generar un c\u00f3digo maliciosos, encontrar y explotar brechas de seguridad y distribuir malware, adem\u00e1s de que puede ser combinado con otras herramientas basadas en IA para realizar DeepFake de voz y simular la voz de una persona (un director o un CEO) para cometer fraudes.<\/p>\n

Si a esto le sumamos que podr\u00eda reducir el costo de entrada basado en habilidades para nuevos atacantes, al realizar de manera automatizada algunas tareas requeridas por los ciberdelicuentes menos calificados, los riesgos son enormes.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, existen formas de mantenernos a salvo, ante este escenario es hoy m\u00e1s importante que nunca el apegarnos a buenas pr\u00e1cticas de ciberseguridad. Es crucial estar al tanto de los riesgos a trav\u00e9s de entrenamiento b\u00e1sicos sobre concientizaci\u00f3n y capacitaci\u00f3n en temas relacionados al panorama de amenazas, sus avances y c\u00f3mo evitar ser v\u00edctimas ante cualquier intento de fraude de cualquier tipo. Adem\u00e1s de promover buenas pr\u00e1cticas de ciberhigiene entre nuestros colaboradores y allegados.<\/p>\n

Para las organizaciones, es importante asegurarse de dise\u00f1ar un plan integral de ciberseguridad que involucre a cada miembro de la organizaci\u00f3n, sin importar el papel que desempe\u00f1e o el \u00e1rea a la que pertenezca, porque como decimos siempre en Fortinet, \u201cla ciberseguridad es un trabajo que corresponde a todos y la primera l\u00ednea de defensa es siempre el factor humano\u201d. Adicionalmente, es recomendable apalancarse de la tecnolog\u00eda utilizando enfoques orientados a \u201czero trust\u201d que incluyan autenticaci\u00f3n multifactor de usuarios, soluciones de detecci\u00f3n y respuesta para endpoint (EDR), contar con un servicio de Monitoreo Digital de Riesgos y un plan de Respuesta a Incidentes.<\/p>\n

Estamos viviendo en un panorama de ciberamenazas que crece a un modo exponencial, tan solo en el\u00a0 2022 se detectaron 360 mil millones de intentos de ciberataques en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe y en M\u00e9xico, 187 mil millones, esto de acuerdo con los \u00faltimos datos obtenidos por FortiGuard Labs<\/strong><\/a> de Fortinet. Ante la llegada de herramientas que hacen uso intensivo de inteligencia artificial como ChatGPT o GPT-4 podemos esperar que las ciberamenazas sigas evolucionando y creciendo, lo que convierte a la prevenci\u00f3n y a la educaci\u00f3n en nuestros mejores aliados para mantenernos m\u00e1s seguros y crear entre todos un mundo digital en el que todos podamos confiar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
