EATON comparte la importancia del monitoreo remoto y predictivo para la continuidad de las operaciones de las empresas.<\/em><\/h5>\n

La energ\u00eda es la base de la econom\u00eda mundial y ha evolucionado a la par de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, la digitalizaci\u00f3n y a las nuevas necesidades de un mundo m\u00e1s conectado. Los dispositivos que intercambian datos con otros dispositivos a trav\u00e9s de sensores, software y otras tecnolog\u00edas, nos brindan una serie de beneficios para conocer el estatus de equipos en tiempo real, informaci\u00f3n, eventos, control de dispositivos a distancia, as\u00ed como para tomar decisiones que nos permitan ser productivos, rentables y mejorar nuestra operatividad; todo lo anterior sin necesidad de encontrarnos en el mismo sitio, es decir nos han dado la capacidad de hacerlo remotamente.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, a pesar de los avances en la tecnolog\u00eda, cuando se produce un fallo en el suministro el\u00e9ctrico en espacios que dependen de ella, se requiere extraer energ\u00eda de otras fuentes y es ah\u00ed donde los UPS entran a escena, obteniendo esa energ\u00eda faltante de sus bancos de bater\u00edas para alimentar las cargas cr\u00edticas hasta que se restablezca el suministro o se activen los generadores de reserva.<\/p>\n

El IoT<\/strong> <\/a>dentro del sector energ\u00e9tico ha sido muy relevante y ha representado importantes beneficios, ha permitido prevenir fallas en los equipos, evitado p\u00e9rdidas de informaci\u00f3n y datos sensibles, y tambi\u00e9n ha permitido a las empresas e industrias a optimizar recursos y contar con una administraci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda m\u00e1s inteligente, lo cual se traduce a su vez en ahorros econ\u00f3micos.<\/p>\n

Con el monitoreo remoto se obtiene informaci\u00f3n en tiempo real de sus equipos, desde cualquier parte del mundo, conocen informaci\u00f3n del comportamiento energ\u00e9tico a lo largo de la vida \u00fatil de sus equipos, podr\u00e1n darse cuenta si su consumo energ\u00e9tico es mayor al realmente indispensable o si alg\u00fan equipo requiere atenci\u00f3n o bien que est\u00e1 deteriorado y necesita reemplazo. A trav\u00e9s de los sistemas de monitoreo podemos tener una participaci\u00f3n proactiva en intervenciones a los equipos, reemplazar piezas cuando sea necesario, prevenir mal funcionamiento y evitar tiempos muertos o gastos extremos y de urgencia.<\/p>\n

Administraci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s inteligente<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Gracias al IoT en la industria energ\u00e9tica, es posible potenciar el control de la producci\u00f3n, almacenamiento y distribuci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda de forma remota e inmediata, favoreciendo la automatizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Otra de las principales aplicaciones IoT en la industria energ\u00e9tica es el monitoreo predictivo: a trav\u00e9s del an\u00e1lisis de ciertos par\u00e1metros, se infieren probabilidades de aver\u00eda y se programa el mantenimiento de los equipos de forma anticipada. El monitoreo predictivo y el mantenimiento preventivo permite acceder a un importante ahorro econ\u00f3mico. Se estima que los costos de mantenimiento normalmente suponen entre un 15% y un 40% de los costos de producci\u00f3n total.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, el mantenimiento preventivo permite ahorros de hasta un 8% y un 12% frente al mantenimiento programado y un 40% respecto al mantenimiento reactivo.
