El mercado de smartphones es uno de los m\u00e1s din\u00e1micos en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os en t\u00e9rminos de adopci\u00f3n, renovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica y configuraci\u00f3n de su ecosistema competitivo.<\/h5>\n

En M\u00e9xico, al finalizar la primera mitad de 2019, de un total de 120.4 millones de l\u00edneas m\u00f3viles o 94.9% del total de la poblaci\u00f3n, 88.7% son tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes o Smartphones. Esto equivale a 106.8 millones de dispositivos en activo, 3.8% m\u00e1s que un a\u00f1o atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, la carrera por la preferencia de los consumidores, basada en la oferta de desarrollos de equipos de todas las gamas y motivada por la ascendente sofisticaci\u00f3n de las preferencias e intensificaci\u00f3n de uso de los usuarios, ha provocado una recomposici\u00f3n al alza del inter\u00e9s por contar con equipos insignia de la m\u00e1s alta tecnolog\u00eda y de aquellos de gama media con capacidades igualmente avanzadas pero a un menor precio.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, la proporci\u00f3n de usuarios con Smartphones<\/a> de gama alta asciende a 8% al 2T19, 2 pp. m\u00e1s que 4T18. Mientras que la tenencia de gama media aument\u00f3 3 puntos porcentuales al pasar de 49% a 52%.<\/p>\n

En conjunto las gamas alta y baja cubren conjuntamente el 60% del mercado total, mientras que dos a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s era la gama baja la que alcanzaba esa proporci\u00f3n. Esto confirma el esfuerzo presupuestal de los consumidores, por contar con equipos m\u00e1s poderosos tecnol\u00f3gicamente hablando.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, ha tenido lugar una atomizaci\u00f3n y creciente competencia por el n\u00famero de fabricantes que se disputan el mercado. Al 2T19, existe un jugador l\u00edder (Samsung) con una participaci\u00f3n de mercado 35.6%, siguiendo un enfoque vertical de oferta de dispositivos de todas las gamas y un ejercicio de cuantiosas inversiones en campa\u00f1as publicitarias.<\/p>\n

Enseguida se encuentra Motorola con 14.2% del total del mercado, fabricante que ha optado por seguir la l\u00ednea de ventas del primero al incorporar un cat\u00e1logo extenso en todas las gamas de dispositivos m\u00f3viles.<\/p>\n

El mayor dinamismo lo muestra Huawei que alcanza ya 12.1% del mercado, aproxim\u00e1ndose aceleradamente a convertirse el segundo lugar en preferencia, con una estrategia acelerada renovaci\u00f3n de su gama alta.<\/p>\n

Apple alcanza 11.3% de participaci\u00f3n de mercado, con una tendencia descendiente y una barrera de poder adquisitivo para mercados masivos, debido a sus precios elevados.<\/p>\n

Otros fabricantes conforman \u00bc del mercado.<\/h3>\n

Pronto se elevar\u00e1 el nivel de competencia, con la llegada de Oppo, una de las cinco marcas con mayor huella en el mundo, que apostar\u00e1 a una estrategia de comunicaci\u00f3n boca a boca para crecer su preferencia entre los mexicanos. La innovaci\u00f3n incorporada en sus terminales y precios competitivos le permitir\u00e1n estar cada vez m\u00e1s presente en los bolsillos de los usuarios.<\/p>\n

Por otro lado, los ingresos asociados a la venta de dispositivos representan 25% del total de los ingresos de los operadores, esto es, $25,033 mdp. en el 2T19, 0.2% menos que en el 2T18.<\/p>\n

La masificaci\u00f3n en la adopci\u00f3n de Smartphones es ya una realidad en M\u00e9xico. La din\u00e1mica competitiva y la creciente preferencia por estos equipos ha propiciado cambios en la ponderaci\u00f3n de mercado de los diferentes fabricantes de equipos y de las diferentes ofertas tecnol\u00f3gicas.<\/p>\n

Hoy una caracter\u00edstica observable en este mercado es la incesante necesidad por la renovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica y el lanzamiento de nuevos equipos de todas las gamas para atender un mercado \u00e1vido de conocer y hacerse de estos dispositivos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
